When you think it was marketed the first digital camera phone? The most likely answer is that five or six years, maybe more. Today I stumbled upon a video of a Japanese advertising in 1999. And ... guess what Announce ... yes, a module that was connected to the phone to take pictures in black and white.
10 years, not long ago. There is more to see the video to realize how far and fast this field has evolved. The only thing I'm should probably not be very practical to take this module in 1999 to take pictures ... reminds me a bit to control the Wii with your nunchuck to play.
The module is sold with a mobile operator TU-KA, KDDI today. In Japan, 1999 was the year of the beginning of the mobile Internet to DoCoMo's i-mode. Personally, I bought my first cell phone exactly 14 years ago ... how will the mobile phone in ten years? Video below ...
